Frequently Asked Questions

AI
A chain hook is typically a single hook attached to a chain or rope, ideal for hanging items like baskets. A pad eye plate is a flat metal plate with an eyelet, screwed directly into a surface, providing a more robust and fixed anchor point for heavier loads or marine applications.
Stainless steel, particularly grades 304 or 316, is the best choice for outdoor UK weather. It offers superior resistance to rust and corrosion compared to standard steel or galvanized options, ensuring longevity even in damp or coastal environments.
Many of the top-rated options in this list, such as the EGGMARCH and BOZILY sets, include screws and plastic expansion plugs. However, always verify the product description before purchasing, as some heavy-duty marine plates may require separate masonry anchors depending on your wall type.
